Our staff are perhaps our greatest asset. Some of our staff have been here since we first opened, and the more recent members follow their example for enthusiam and concern for the children in their care.
All our staff have First Aid training, which is renewed every three years. They have refresher training in Safeguarding training and DBS certificates are also renewed every three years. Each member of staff will have a variety of continuing education courses based around areas that are of value to the setting.
Jocelyn
Jocelyn is the owner and manager of LIttle Buds, a very experienced Nursery practitioner and something of a force of nature.
Her vision for her Nursery is to provide a comfortable nurturing space for the children and staff in her care, ensuring that everyone reaches their full potential
Christine
Christine is our Deputy Manager and also our Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
She is a very experienced childcare expert, dealing in areas such as phonics and communication.
She says that her goal in the Nursery to to help the children become more independent and confident in expressing themselves. Communication is essential for children in socialising with other children.
Christine was also the Towergate Nursery Worker of the Year, 2018

Sophia - Our Cook
Sophia is our cooks. She prepares meals and nibbles every day with fresh ingredients, often picked from the Nursery Garden.
We follow advice on portion size as well as nutritional advice from appropriate sources within Hackney.
We keep written records of allergies and religious and other restrictions.
Louisa - Our Apprentice
Louisa is our apprentice, working with us while she studies for a level 2 child care qualification. The Appreenticeship gives her valuable practical experience and at the same time she is able to bring back into the Nursery settting many of the new practices that she is learning.
Fran - Our creative arts teacher
Fran helps to stretch the imagination of each child with some amazing art work and creative opportunities
Laura
Laura comes into the Setting on a Friday with her ukelele and runs our music class. The children sing, dance, clap and play play rhythms on our collection of instruments.
Pascal is our French Teacher.
She comes into the setting once a week to help the children to learn French through songs and play.
